Brown Moss

This brown moss is commonly found blanketing giant areas In moorlands.
It is small, growing up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps, and is slightly delicate; it takes a lot of damage when trodden on.
When mature, emerald kidney-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release millions of spores; it can cause severe allergic reactions.
