Caramelbell

This small shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 185 years old. It is very susceptible to disease and insect infestation.

It has numerous very thick, twisting stems covered in rough, dark brown bark, and the wood inside is black.

The branches are long and thin with thousands of twigs that and are covered with large amounts of large, 8 pointed, leaves with toothed edges. The leaves themselves are olive at the bottom and hazel with caramel dots at the top, light and fuzzy.

In late summer it produces dozens of medium-sized, gold flowers with needle-like petals with a bell-shaped floral cup. They detach easily and have the faintest scent that smells like fruity.
