Bloodvine
Climbing plant type: Creeper (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This short creeper is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 11 feet (3.4 meters) and growing as high as 109 feet (33.2 meters).
It takes 5 months for the gray stems to mature, by which point they often have a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and are tough and woody.
The pleated, leathery leaves reach up to 4 inches (10 cm) in length. They are a shade of blood red that gradient shifts to lilac at the top, and have wavy edges.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
