Caramel creeper

This big creeper is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 73 feet (22.3 meters) and growing as high as 30 feet (9.1 meters).

It takes 5 years for the caramel or olive stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 8 inches (20 cm) and are smooth and waxy.

The slender, pointed, clammy leaves reach up to 2.1 feet (64 cm) in length. They are gentle red and bronze, and have jagged edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces handfuls of average vivid yellow flowers.
