Aquafern

This enormous shrub grows up to 10 feet (3.0 meters) tall and lives for around 40 years. It is susceptible to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has numerous slender, straight stems covered in thin, rough, brown and grey bark, and the wood inside is white with black speckles.

The branches are tall, rigid and upright with thousands of twigs that and are covered with thick bunches of miniature, fan-like, leaves with rounded edges. The leaves themselves are orange and aquamarine, rigid and sticky.

In late spring it produces handfuls of medium-sized, hazel flowers with 7 shield-shaped shaped petals. They are very delicate and have an intense scent that smells like pot-purri.
