Crimson Cactus

This short cactus grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall. The very thick stem is green, and is covered in thick bunches of flexible red spines.

It is steady-growing, taking 3 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with petals that are pink at the sides and grey at the center grows at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is made up of 7 petals in raised layers. It has a delicate scent that smells like petrol.

The cactus's skin is extremely thick, the crimson flesh is sticky, and the grey sap is thin and causes diarrhea if consumed.
