Caramelbell

Shrub type: Deciduous (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This large shrub grows up to 9 feet (2.7 meters) tall and lives for around 61 years. It is not very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has many stocky, twisting stems covered in hard, rough, light brown bark, and the wood inside is yellow.

The branches are very long and slender with thousands of twigs that and are covered with small amounts of giant, asymmetrical, leaves with wavy edges. The leaves themselves are orange and caramel, delicate and smooth.

In mid-summer it produces thick bunches of medium-sized, gold flowers with 4 pointed petals with a bell-shaped floral cup. They detach easily and have a powerful scent that smells like cinnamon.


It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
