Bronzebell

This short caudiciform grows up to 5 feet (1.5 meters) tall. The very thick stem is orange-yellow or bronze, and is covered in hundreds of rigid silver spines. The very thick, yellow trunk can grow to as much as 5 feet (1.5 meters) in diameter. Its brown branches are short, rigid and upright.

The tattered-edged, spear shaped leaves are generally white. They are resistant, but take some effort to detach.

It is very fast growing, taking 3 months to reach maturity. Once mature, and only under the right conditions, a handful of flowers, with crimson petals on the lower layer and peach petals decorated with azure dots on the inner layer. The central disk is red, grow at the top, reappearing after 4 years, but only when the conditions are right again. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 44 petals. It has a scent whose strength depends on external factors, such as soil quality and rain frequency that smells like lemon.

The caudiciform's skin is thin, the aquamarine flesh is smooth, and the bronze sap is thin and has hallucinogenic properties.
