Red Heart Moss

This red moss is commonly found growing in medium-sized clumps In rainforests.
It is short, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps and they overwhelm an area rapidly, and is very hardy.
When mature, emerald heart-shaped capsules grow at the end of long, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early summer to release hundred of spores; it does not cause any allergic reactions.
