Copperflower

Flower type: Annual (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This small flower grows up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. Its orange-yellow stem is very thick, and the huge, orange-yellow leaves are light copper on the underside and are circular with serrated edges. Many leaves grow along the entire length of the stem.

Many large flowers grow in a bunch at the end of the stem. The flowers are 5 cm (2.0 inches) wide, with petals that are gentle yellow on the edges and beige at the center. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 20 petals. They are very delicate.

It has a powerful scent that smells like cigarette smoke, and it has excessive amounts of pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions. It is pollinated by the wind, but is also visited by a small species of bird.

It out-competes most other plants for nutrients and light.
It is almost impossible to grow from cuttings.
