Gray Puffgrass

This small, dull green and gray-green grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The very thick stalks grow in thick clumps that are resistant.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, brown puff.

During the mid-autumn, it produces an average amount of pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of large grains.
