Burgundy Grass
Grass type: Biennial (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)This modest-sized, burgundy grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The finger-like stalks grow in extensive patches that are resistant and they are slow to spread and grow.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, peach puff.
During the mid-summer, it produces very little pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a few small grains.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
