Burgundy Moss

This burgundy moss is commonly found growing in small clumps In damp forests, and In rainforests.
It is small, growing up to 2 inches (5 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps, and is slightly flexible.
When mature, emerald triangular capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release hundred of spores.
