Clinging Blazevine

This small vine is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 18 feet (5.5 meters) and growing as high as 864 feet (263.3 meters).

It takes 3 months for the yellow-green stems to mature, by which point they often have a diameter of 3 cm (1.2 inches) and are rough and woody.

The wispy, covered in fine hairs leaves reach up to 2 inches (5 cm) in length. They are solid slate or magenta, with green edges, and have tattered edges.

During late spring, the vine produces large amounts of giant bright orange flowers.
