Rainbow Succulent

This large leaf succulent grows up to 75 feet (22.9 meters) tall. The spear shaped stem is lime and orange, and is covered in brittle lime spines. The slender leaves are amber on the sides and purple at the center. Small bunches of them grow on thick, gray-green branches that are short stubs. The leaves are flimsy, but detach easily.

It is steady-growing, taking 2 years to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with turquoise petals and an azure central disk grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is largely flat with dozens of raised round-tipped petals. It has a weak scent that smells like candle wax.

The leaf succulent's skin is thick, the olive flesh is rough, and the brown sap is thin.
