Cyanfern

Shrub type: Coniferous (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)

This average-sized shrub grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall and lives for around 67 years. It is very susceptible to disease and insect infestation.

It has several flexible, wonky stems covered in paper-thin, silky, brown-green bark, and the wood inside is pale brown-grey.

The branches are very long and thin that and are covered with handfuls of giant, 6 pointed, leaves with toothed edges. The leaves themselves are cyan and turquoise, flimsy and smooth.

It produces a handful of small, hazel flowers with crescent-shaped petals. They detach easily and have a strong scent that smells like rainy days. In mid-autumn it forms tinyblack, shelled seeds.

It can flourish even in standing water.
It coexists peacefully with other plants.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
