Copperleaf

Succulent type: Leaf succulent (Stores water in its leaves)

This average-sized leaf succulent grows up to 23 feet (7.0 meters) tall. The thick stem is pink-red, and is covered in copious amounts of rigid white spines. The smooth-edged, wide leaves are green at the bottom and copper with cream lines at the top. Large amounts of them grow from the base like a cabbage. The leaves are rigid, and detach easily.

It is quick growing, taking 2 months to reach maturity. Once mature, several flowers with sky blue petals that gradient shift to peach on the outer edge. The central disk is gentle purple grow at the top, reappearing once every 2 years. The flower head is largely flat with 58 raised narrow petals. It has the faintest scent that smells like something putrid.

The leaf succulent's skin is extremely thick, the aquamarine flesh is smooth, and the purple sap is thin.

It usually houses a colony of beneficial insects.
It is said to be able to live for hundreds of years.
It has impressive regenerative properties.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
