Golden Moss

This orange-yellow moss is commonly found blanketing small areas In rainforests, and In bogs.
It is big, growing up to 7 inches (18 cm) tall. It forms in small clumps and they are slow to spread and grow, and is slightly flimsy.
When mature, emerald kidney-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-summer to release thousands of spores.
