Brown Moss

This brown moss is commonly found blanketing tiny areas On trees.
It is big, growing up to 7 inches (18 cm) tall. It forms in thick clumps and they overwhelm an area rapidly, and is overwhelmingly durable; it is very difficult to kill.
When mature, emerald crescent-shaped capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release hundred of spores.
