Emerald Flame Moss

This emerald moss is commonly found growing in large clumps In rainforests, and In rainy mountain ranges.
It is modest-sized, growing up to 4 inches (10 cm) tall. It forms in thin clumps, and is very light.
When mature, emerald flame-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release hundred of spores; it can cause allergic reactions.
