Bluevine Grass

This colossal, sky blue or hazel grass grows up to 22 feet (6.7 meters) tall. The broad, flat stalks grow in large clumps that are prone to bending and snapping under stress and they overwhelm an area rapidly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, dark blue spikelet.

During the late summer, it produces lots of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a handful of giant grains.
