Chestnut Grass
Grass type: Biennial (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This average-sized, brown grass grows up to 3 feet (91.4 cm) tall. The broad, flat stalks grow in thick clumps that are strong and tough and they spread and grow quickly.
When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, dark brown tuft.
During the mid-autumn, it produces lots of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with a modest amount of tiny grains.
The trunk and branches are covered in large spikes.
