Caramel Creeper
Climbing plant type: Creeper (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)This small creeper is a quick growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 23 feet (7.0 meters) and growing as high as 111 feet (33.8 meters).
It takes 7 months for the green stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 2 cm (0.8 inches) and remain soft and fleshy.
The asymmetrical, rough leaves reach up to 2 inches (5 cm) in length. They are caramel on the sides and dark yellow at the center, and have serrated edges.
During late spring, the creeper produces copious amounts of small ashy red flowers.
It is difficult to kill and will quickly regrow if cut.
It is suitable for creating strong, durable textiles
