Blackgrass

Grass type: Perennial (Stores water in its leaves)

This average-sized, black grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The finger-like stalks grow in extensive patches that are strong and tough.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, pink tuft.

During the mid-summer, it produces very little pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with a few medium-sized grains.

It absorbs an exceptionally large amount of water each day.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
