Brownneedle

This enormous tree grows up to 135 meters (442.9 feet) tall and lives "forever", with many known specimens being tens of thousands of years old. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a sturdy, crooked trunk covered in ridged, brown-green bark, and inside, the light wood is black.

The branches are short and thin, with dozens of twigs covered with thick bunches of huge, brown needles. The needles themselves are frail.

In late summer it produces giant, brown, spiky-shelled seeds.

The roots are thick and spread across the surface, as well as underground, and overall the tree is sturdy, flexible, and difficult to uproot or break.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together densely, with patches of undergrowth between them.
