Bluevine

This modest-sized shrub grows up to 2 feet (61.0 cm) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 135 years old. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has numerous sturdy, wonky stems covered in hard, rough, brown-green bark, and the wood inside is burgundy-brown.

The branches are short, rigid and upright with dozens of twigs that and are covered with thick bunches of huge, wide, leaves with irregular edges. The leaves themselves are sky blue and green, durable and fuzzy.

In early spring it produces many small, brown flowers with circular petals. They are very delicate and have an intense scent that smells like burning wood.
