Azure Spindlebloom

This short cactus grows up to 5 feet (1.5 meters) tall. The finger-like stem is lime green, and is dotted with small grey spines.

It is steady-growing, taking 19 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a single flower with alternating petals of silver and purple, with an aquamarine central disk grows at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 19 curved petals. It has a delicate scent that smells like cotton.

The cactus's skin is delicate, the sky blue flesh is rubbery, and the cyan sap is thin.
