Bronze

This small flower grows up to 1 inch (3 cm) tall. Its gray-green stem is wispy, and the tiny, moss green leaves are very thin with smooth edges. Many leaves grow at the base of the stem, and more leaves grow in pairs along the length of the stem.

Each stem splits 2 to 5 times; a single tiny flower grows at the end of each split. The flowers are 3 cm (1.2 inches) wide, with bronze petals on the lower layer and cream petals decorated with gold dots on the inner layer. The central disk is cyan. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 34 curved petals. They are sturdy.

It has a weak scent that smells like cherry, and it has excessive amounts of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions. It is pollinated by insects and is particularly attractive to butterflies.
