Bloodpetal

Flower type: Biennial (Stores water in the thickened base of its stem)

This average-sized flower grows up to 1.7 feet (51 cm) tall. Its orange stems grow in bunches of 4 and are thick and straight, and the tiny, peach leaves are light brown on the underside and are umbrella-shaped with jagged edges. The leaves grow in pairs along the length of the stem.

Two small flowers sit at the end of each stem. The flowers are 3 cm (1.2 inches) wide, with blood red petals and a yellow center. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 40 curved petals. They are very delicate.

It has a delicate scent that smells like meat, and it has copious amounts of pollen, but it does not cause any allergic reactions. It is pollinated by the wind, but is also visited by some specific types of insect.

It is suitable for creating fine, soft textiles
The leaves are bland but very healthy.
