Bloodvine

This large shrub grows up to 7 feet (2.1 meters) tall and lives for around 57 years. It is very resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has several slender, wavy stems covered in smooth, silver bark, and the wood inside is burgundy-brown.

The branches are very long, thin and wispy with dozens of twigs that and are covered with small bunches of giant, wispy, leaves with toothed edges. The leaves themselves are green on the edges and blood red at the center, frail and clammy.

In early summer it produces lots of small, dark blue flowers with asymmetrical petals. They are very delicate and have a strong scent that smells like onion.
