Coppergrass

Grass type: Perennial (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This small, hazel or muted red grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The long, narrow stalks grow in extensive patches that are resilient.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a tiny, bronze puff.

During the late autumn, it produces lots of pollen, and after flowering, it is left with lots of giant grains.

It is suitable for use as a construction material
