Clinging Mahogany
Shrub type: Coniferous (Grows upwards by clinging to almost any surface.)This short shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for around 23 years. It is somewhat resistant to disease and destructive insect infestation.
It has many slender, angular stems covered in fine, wrinkled, mahogany-coloured bark, and the wood inside is yellow-brown.
The branches are very long and thin that and are covered with handfuls of miniature, perforated, leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are orange-yellow with beige tips, hardy and rough.
It produces clusters of small, white flowers with circular petals. They fall easily and have an overpowering scent that smells like rotting meat. In early summer it forms medium-sizedcrimson, tough-shelled seeds.
It can grow in even the most barren lands.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
