Coppervine

Tree type: Deciduous (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This small tree grows up to 2 meters (6.6 feet) tall and lives for centuries, with the oldest known specimen being around 625 years old. It is susceptible to disease and destructive insect infestation.

It has a wide, straight trunk covered in silky, yellow bark, and inside, the medium-dense wood is pale brown.

The tangled mess of branches are short, thin and wispy and are covered with thick bunches of rough, huge, perforated leaves with smooth edges. The leaves themselves are vibrant orange and copper.

In late summer it forms giant, crimson, winged seeds that spin and fall nearby.

The roots grow as a near perfect mirror of the tree above, and overall the tree is rigid and weak, and breaks apart easily.

Forests of this species feature the trees packed together densely, with clear space between them.

It is often referred to as the most beautiful of all flowers.
It is suitable for making baskets and the like
