Creamtail Grass

Grass type: Annual (Stores water in its stem)

This small, brown grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The fan-like stalks grow in small clumps that are robust.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a giant, cream tail.

During the early winter, it produces an average amount of pollen; it does not cause any allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of small grains.

Ivy often grows along the trunk.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
