Emerald

This emerald moss is commonly found blanketing tiny areas In damp forests, In bogs, and In rainy mountain ranges.
It is small, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches, and is very tough.
When mature, emerald teardrop-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early winter to release thousands of spores; it can cause allergic reactions.
