Burgundy Moss

This burgundy moss is commonly found growing in large clumps In moorlands.
It is average-sized, growing up to 6 inches (15 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches, and is slightly light.
When mature, emerald oblong capsules grow at the end of elongated, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the early autumn to release hundred of spores; it does not cause any allergic reactions.
