Cyanbell Tree

This enormous tree grows up to 144 meters (472.5 feet) tall and lives for decades, with the oldest known specimen being around 131 years old. It is very resistant to disease but is susceptible to destructive insect infestation.

It has a slender, angular trunk covered in smooth, black with white speckled bark, and inside, the very light wood is yellow.

The small handful of branches are very long and thin and are covered with very large amounts of fuzzy, huge, slender, pointed leaves with toothed edges. The leaves themselves are solid cyan or brown, with bronze dots.

In early spring, it produces many large, gold blossoms with many layers of petals with a bell-shaped floral cup. They detach easily and have a powerful scent that smells like bleach.

In late summer it forms medium-sized, brown seed pods.

The roots are thick and spread across the surface, as well as underground, and overall the tree is sturdy, flexible, and difficult to uproot or break.

Forests of this species feature well-spaced trees, with clear space between them.
