Caramelvine

Climbing plant type: Bine (Grows upwards by winding itself around other objects and plants.)

This short bine is a very fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 5 feet (1.5 meters) and growing as high as 867 feet (264.3 meters).

It takes 5 months for the caramel or black stems to mature, by which point they often have a diameter of 1 cm (0.4 inches) and are hard and brittle.

The broad, flat, smooth leaves reach up to 2 inches (5 cm) in length. They are brown on the sides and blue at the center, and have toothed edges.

During late spring, the bine produces copious amounts of average washed-out orange flowers, and during the late summer, after flowering, it produces plenty of large seed pods.

It is very rare outside of a particular area.
All of it is said to be part of one single, massive plant.
It is suitable for creating tough, hard-wearing textiles
