Bloodgrass

This short, blood red grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The asymmetrical stalks grow in extensive patches that are flimsy and they spread and grow quickly.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, dull green flower.

During the late autumn, it produces an average amount of pollen; it can cause allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with excessive amounts of tiny grains.
