Coppervine

This short vine is a fast growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 12 feet (3.7 meters)0.

It takes 7 months for the black stems to mature, by which point they have tangled themselves into thick mats with a diameter of 3 cm (1.2 inches) and are rough and prickly.

The long, narrow, smooth leaves reach up to 5 inches (13 cm) in length. They are solid copper with slate splotches, and have rounded edges.

During late spring, the vine produces several average dull orange flowers.
