Amberthorn Creeper

Climbing plant type: Creeper (Grows along the ground or other low surfaces.)

This average-sized creeper is a steady-growing plant, with the largest known specimen reaching a length of 39 feet (11.9 meters)0.

It takes 3 years for the orange-yellow stems to mature, by which point they have often fused together into ropes with a diameter of 3 inches (8 cm) and are rough and prickly.

The long, narrow, fuzzy leaves reach up to 10 inches (25 cm) in length. They are solid amber with blood red streaks, and have smooth edges.

During late spring, the creeper produces several giant black flowers.
