Blueberry Bush

This small shrub grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall and lives for around 29 years. It is very resistant to disease but is susceptible to destructive insect infestation.

It has numerous long and flexible, straight stems covered in very thick, waxy, gray bark, and the wood inside is black.

The branches are tall, rigid and upright that and are covered with large amounts of large, broad, flat, leaves with irregular edges. The leaves themselves are black on the edges and sky blue at the center, hardy and covered in fine hairs.

In early summer it produces a thick sheet of small, sky blue flowers with 6 shield-shaped shaped petals. They are hardy and have a delicate scent that smells like damp.
