Copper

This short flower grows up to 5 inches (13 cm) tall. Its copper stem is very thick, and the giant, gray-green leaves are wide with wavy edges. The leaves alternate on the stem.

Each stem splits 4 to 8 times; a single medium-sized flower grows at the end of each split. The flowers are 16 cm (6.3 inches) wide, with petals that are either slate or blue, with a yellow center. The flower head is made up of 12 petals in raised layers. They are very delicate.

It has the faintest scent that smells like new books, and it has very little pollen, but can cause severe allergic reactions. It is a self-pollinator, but is also visited by one species of insect in particular.
