Crimsonfern

This pink-red moss is commonly found blanketing medium-sized areas In rainy mountain ranges, and On trees.
It is short, growing up to 3 inches (8 cm) tall. It forms in extensive patches and they spread and grow quickly, and is slightly flimsy.
When mature, emerald crescent-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the late autumn to release millions of spores.
