Copper Succulent

This short cactus grows up to 9 feet (2.7 meters) tall. It splits partway up the body to form 3 very thick stems. Each stem is moss green, and is covered in brittle bold red spines. The cuboid body is copper, and is covered in thick bunches of flexible silver spines.

It is slow growing, taking 37 years to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with petals that are gold in the center, lilac in the middle and turquoise at the edges, grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of 33 curved petals. It has an overpowering scent that smells like new carpet.

The cactus's skin is thin, the blue flesh is sticky, and the light purple sap is thin.
