Aquamarine Succulent

This modest-sized leaf succulent grows up to 20 feet (6.1 meters) tall. The very narrow, elongated stem is slate, and is covered in many flexible green spines. The bubbly leaves are solid light brown or aquamarine, with blood red edges. Small amounts of them grow on wide, red branches that are very short and thick. The leaves are soft and flexible, but do not detach easily.

It is fast growing, taking 5 months to reach maturity. Once mature, a handful of flowers, with petals that are turquoise on the underside and peach on the top, grow at the top, reappearing every year. The flower head is an uncoordinated mess of up to 10 curved petals. It has an intensely strong scent that smells like rainy days.

The leaf succulent's skin is thin, the red flesh is sticky, and the aquamarine sap is thin and can cause blindness if consumed.
