Aquamarine Clinger

This modest-sized flower grows up to 1.3 feet (41 cm) tall. Its emerald stems grow from the base of the plant in bunches of 7 and are very thick and straight, and split into several branching stems three quarters of the way up, and the miniature, lime green leaves are long, narrow with smooth edges. A pair of leaves grow at the base of the stem.

4 to 7 small flowers grow on alternate sides up the length of the stem. The flowers are 4 cm (1.6 inches) wide, with solid aquamarine petals decorated with beige lines and a purple central disk. The flower head is made up of 9 petals in raised layers. They are very delicate.

It has a mildly strong scent that smells like petrol, and it has lots of pollen. It is a self-pollinator.
