Orange Spikelet Grass

This short, orange grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The stiff, pointed stalks grow in extensive patches that are flimsy and they are slow to spread and grow.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a medium-sized, blue spikelet.

During the early autumn, it produces a fair amount of pollen; it can cause severe allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with lots of medium-sized grains.
