Burgundygrass

This short, burgundy grass grows up to 1 foot (30.5 cm) tall. The stiff, pointed stalks grow in small clumps that are flexible.

When mature, the end of the stem eventually transforms into a large, gold tuft.

During the early summer, it produces an average amount of pollen; it does not cause many allergic reactions, and after flowering, it is left with plenty of tiny grains.
