Emerald

This pink-red moss is commonly found blanketing small areas In moorlands.
It is enormous, growing up to 1.3 feet (41 cm) tall. It forms in large clumps and they are slow to spread and grow, and is very rigid.
When mature, emerald flame-shaped capsules grow at the end of short, lime green sporophytes, eventually opening up during the mid-summer to release millions of spores.
